After giving birth, I was desperate to lose weight. I put on around 15 to 16 kg altogether which made me feel extremely low in confidence. I also found that I used to get tired quickly and my energy level was always low. Desperate to lose all this baby weight, I got to work and after much trial and error I have found that detoxing before starting a diet gives much better and consistent results.
But why do we need to detox body ?
Bad eating habits over a number of years work together to pile up some serious toxins in our systems. The good news is that there’s a very simple way to flush all those toxins out of the body using the home recipe I am about to share with you.
This detox drink will not only cleanse you from all the toxins, it will also jump start your weight loss program. But before we get into a cooking mode, let’s look closer at the key ingredients and why they’re so good for our body.
Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
In supermarkets, you’ll usually find apple cider vinegar that’s been processed and filtered. Avoid them! instead go for the unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
This vinegar contains particles necessary for your immune system. It has bacteria called “acetobacter” that helps to flush out even the worst foods.
You get a solid detox, and you prep the body in fat-burning mode. Apple cider vinegar also has antibiotic properties. These antibiotic properties will help the stomach improve its acid content. The outcome? Less heartburn and acid reflux. Apple cider vinegar is loaded with antioxidants that keep your body healthy.
What makes honey one of the two great cleansing remedies is a thing called eugenol. Organic, unprocessed honey is full of eugenol. This substance makes organic honey such a great helper for health-conscious people who want to detox and switch to healthy eating.
Unprocessed honey helps your body detox on so many levels. A deeper, life-changing effect is that organic honey destroys cancer cells. Again, we have eugenol to thank for this cancer-cleansing effect of honey. Eugenol is there to keep you safe from tumors too.
Honey has nutrients that are beneficial for your body, that’s why it is considered a super food. Eating honey early in the morning preps the body for losing weight throughout the day.
What About Colon Cleansing?
The human body needs thorough detoxification few times a year. There are some clear signs our bodies send out so we can recognize the need of such cleansing. Let’s list just a few of them:
- Aches: “Safe” pains (headaches, backaches, sciatic pain etc.) indicate that your intoxicated body needs a colon cleansing.
- Fatigue: Tiredness can be a sign that your body struggles with toxins buildup.
- Constipation: Stress, bad diet, and chemicals can cause mucus build-up on the bowel walls. When things turn acute, it’s a clear sign that your body needs some cleansing.
- Odor: Bad breath, body full of gasses and constant sweating are obvious signs that your body needs deep cleansing.
- Acne: Toxins can start destroying the inner part of the skin. Acute acne for non-teen people is a clear indicator that your body may need cleaning.
The Detox Home Recipe
You can make your colon cleansing just by using these 2 simple nutrients and if you can make tea, you can make this too. Here’s how to do it.
